BJB, Intiland sign agreement on apartment loan

Publicly listed Bank Jabar Banten (BJB) and leading property developer PT Intiland Development signed an agreement on Tuesday on ownership loans for an apartment complex in Tangerang, Banten.

Under the agreement, which was signed at the Intiland Tower in Jakarta, BJB provides the loans, starting at Rp 25 million (US$2,650), for buyers of apartments in Aeropolis Residence in Tangerang.

Both parties also signed a memorandum of understanding for banking services.

Apart from providing loans for Aeropolis Residence, BJB offers the same scheme for other high rise buildings, including Paragon Square and Village, also located in Tangerang, The Jarrdin@Cihampelas in Bandung, Solo Paragon in Surakarta, The Mansion Apartment in Surabaya, and Balikpapan Superblok in Balikpapan.

During the first quarter of this year, the publicly listed BJB has booked a total of Rp 20.4 trillion in loans, 21.6 percent higher than last year’s total of Rp 16.8 trillion on the same period. (lfr/nvn)
