RI acted before any real thought when they ousted the Dutch prematurely. It may have already been a leader in the Asia region, and its people better educated, if the Dutch had remained for a few more years to help develop the nation.

The government will also need approval from radical group members.

Instead of buying tanks, it would be better to use that money to solve the water problems in Jakarta. The Dutch are specialized in resolving water problems around the world.
