resenter Ayu Dewi hopes to meet the strongest contender in the recent Jakarta election, Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, to get to know the man personally.
The 27-year-old said she did not yet know Jokowi, who remains mayor of Surakarta while vying for the capital’s top job.
The model-turned-host acknowledged she knew Jokowi’s competitor, incumbent Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo, better.
“I met him on several occasions,” she said as quoted by tempo.co on Thursday.
However, she revealed she has a lot of checkered shirts in her closet similar to the ones worn by Jokowi
as a symbol of pluralism in his campaign.
