Holy play: Nepalese Hindu devotees play before collecting water from the Bagmati river during the "Bol Bom" pilgrimage at Sudarijaal, outskirts of Katmandu, Nepal, on Monday. During this pilgrimage, devotees walk miles barefooted before offering the water at the Pashupatinath lord Shiva temple in Katmandu. Shravan Somwar or the Monday of Hindu calendar month Shravan is considered auspicious for offering prayer to Lord Shiva, the god of destruction. (AP/Niranjan Shrestha)
