Jakartans get ready to witness the SMTown concert in September

Korean pop (K-pop) lovers in Jakarta will soon be able to see numerous major K-pop artists, namely Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, Shinee, Dong Bang Shin Qi, f(x), Exo and pop stars BoA and Kangta on one stage, as Indonesian promoters announced that the SMTown World Live Tour III will perform in Jakarta on Sept. 22.
The official announcement was made on the facebook page of W Production, the Indonesian promoter, on Thursday evening.
The concert that will be held at the Bung Karno main stadium, the announcement said, is a joint production between W Production and MP Entertainment.
The annual SMTown World Live tour is a concert performed by artists under the major Korean label SM Entertainment.
SMTown World Live Tour III kicked off in Los Angeles and Taipei, and will stop in Tokyo and Seoul later this month before coming to Jakarta. (iwa)
