Deputy Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar arrived at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for questioning in his alleged role in the Koran procurement scandal on Friday. Before being appointed deputy minister, Nasaruddin was chief of the ministry’s Islamic education directorate general, which oversaw the procurement of the holy book. (JP/Jerry Adiguna)
