Wonder Girls to complete line up of Korean artists performing in Jakarta

It seems Indonesian promoters are competing to satisfy the thirst of Indonesian Korean pop (K-pop) fans by bringing a non-stop line up of Korean artists to Jakarta from the beginning of the year.

After W Productions and MP Entertainment announced on Thursday that they will bring the SMTown World Live Tour to Jakarta on Sept. 22, Marygops Studio followed suit with the announcement of the Wonder Girls’ Wonder World Tour concert on Nov. 3.

The concert is held jointly by Marygops Studios, Entourage Entertainment and Asia Top Entertainment.

“Wonder Girls Wonder World Tour performing live at Tennis Indoor Senayan Jakarta, 3rd Nov, 2012. Ticketing info coming soon,” the promoter announced through its twitter account @marygopsstudios on Friday.

Wonder Girls are one of South Korea’s girl groups, comprising of Yubin, Yeeun, Sunye, Sohee and Hyelim. They were selected to be an opening act for the Jonas Brothers’ World Tour in 2009, and their hit “Nobody” sat at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the first South Korean group to enter the United States music industry standard single popularity chart.

The Wonder Girls’ concert will complete a line up of artists from the Ginseng country that has brightened up the music concert industry in the country this year, with Beast performing their “Beautiful Show” concert in March, Super Junior’s Super Show held in April, and Mblaq’s the Blaq% Tour in July.
