It is, of course, noble of President Yudhoyono to support the Rohingya of Myanmar. However, SBY should sort out religious problems in his own backyard before meddling in religious affairs that are not his own.

This is the blackest and gloomiest side of humanity. The Rohingya people are one of the most persecuted minorities in the world but we are ignoring them.

I feel deep sorrow when I read news about some leaders or ulema crying over the persecution of some distant Muslim brothers — completely forgetting how they are treating minorities or those who they do not agree with here. Unfortunately, every Muslim country has a little Myanmar within.
