Graft suspect Neneng Sri Wahyuni celebrated the post-Ramadhan Idul Fitri festival with her mother at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) detention center on Sunday.
Neneng, who is being investigated for her role in a fraudulent project at the Manpower and Transmigration Ministry, shared some time with her mother Nurmaini, 70, who arrived at the center with two other relatives.
Bringing two bags of gifts for Neneng, they arrived at the KPK detention center at around 10:15 a.m.
Neneng and her husband, former Democratic Party treasurer Muhammad Nazaruddin, were allegedly involved in a Rp 2.2 billion graft case surrounding a solar power-plant project at the ministry worth Rp 8.9 billion.
During Idul Fitri, the KPK allowed visits by families of detained graft suspects, including Buol Regent Amran Batalipu, Golkar politician Fahd El Fouz and former Bank Indonesia senior deputy governor Miranda S. Goeltom, Antara news agency reported.
