Indonesia may soon sell weapons and military supplies to Iraq and Uganda, in what a top defense official said would be a first for an ASEAN member nation.
“We are inviting Iraqi defense officials to attend a ceremony commemorating the 67th anniversary of the Indonesian Military (TNI) on Oct. 5,” Deputy Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin said Friday.

I quote: “This is our effort to help rebuild Iraq.” If that was the case, you would be giving the weapons for free and not charging them.

It is not about what the Defense Ministry has in mind by selling our weapons to the Iraqis, but are we as a nation going to follow the US’ dark path as an arms supplier?
