Rosa to testify at Angelina’s trial

JAKARTA: Businesswoman Mindo “Rosa” Rosalina Manullang, a convict in the bribery case to rig a SEA Games construction project, is expected to testify in the graft trial of Democratic Party lawmaker Angelina Sondakh.

The Witness and Victims Protection Agency (LPSK) said that it would provide stepped-up security for Rosa, who is also expected to testify in another graft trial involving the wife of former Democratic Party treasurer M. Nazaruddin.

“We have prepared for her to give her testimony at the trial of AS [Angelina],” LPSK official Lili Pintauli Siregar said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

The Jakarta Corruption Court will hold the first trial for Angelina later this week for corruption in the Southeast Asian Games athletes’ village construction project scandal.
