Rian Ekky Praditya, vocalist with rising local band d’Masiv, married his girlfriend Ayu Hastari in a closely guarded ceremony on Thursday.

The couple tied the knot in Jakarta amid tight security with no media allowed to cover the happy moment.

“The ceremony was held at 8 a.m. Everything ran smoothly,” the families’ representative Rida said as quoted by kompas.com.

However, Rida declined to provide any further details about the wedding as she understood that Rian would eventually share the happy news with the media.  

Rida explained that the reason the families forbade a media presence was for the sake of the sanctity of the ceremony.
