Two robbers on a motorcycle broke the
window of a car parked near a gas station on Jl. Dewi Sartika, East
Jakarta, and fled after taking two laptops from the backseat,
kompas.com reported on Thursday.
The incident took place at about 6:45
p.m. on Wednesday, only three minutes after the vehicle’s driver,
Moko, 30, went to withdraw money from an ATM in the gas station.
“When I got back to my car, passersby
and residents told me that some robbers broke my window,” he said.
The witnesses said that they couldn’t stop the robbers because
things happened too fast, Moko said.
The case remains under investigation by
the Jatinegara precinct.
