5.4 quake rattles Sabang

A magnitude-5.4 earthquake jolted the northwest area of Sabang in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) at around 6:24 p.m.
According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency’s (BMKG) website, the quake’s epicenter was located 63 kilometers below sea level, around 290 kilometers northwest of Sabang, or 295 kilometers northwest of Banda Aceh.
No casualties or damage has been reported, according to Antara news agency. (riz)
