The Fray’s Jakarta concert
canceled

US rock band The Fray’s Jakarta concert has been canceled, just a day ahead of the scheduled performance.

The concert’s promoter, Trilogy Live, announced the cancellation on Monday, citing “transit issues” as the cause of the unexpected occurrence.

“The Fray has regretfully been forced to cancel the show due to transit issues in Indonesia,” the promoter announced on its official Twitter account, @trilogylive.

The promoter, however, did not further elaborate on the issue.

However, Trilogy Live pledged to refund all tickets.

“For the people who have purchased the tickets, the promoter is fully responsible, and the refund process will start on Wednesday, Nov. 7,” the promoter said.

Tickets were priced from Rp 450,000 (US$46.7) to Rp 550,000.

The Fray comprises Isaac Slade (vocals), Joe King (guitars), Dave Welsh (guitars) and Ben Wysocki (drums). Their hits have been featured in the soundtracks of several popular TV series, including Beverly Hills 90210, Criminal Minds, The Vampire Diaries and Smallville. (swd)
