Angklung Day

Angklung (bamboo percussion) are played by 2,012 people at the Gedung Sate compound in Bandung on Sunday to observe the official naming of the angklung as an Indonesian cultural heritage by the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The festival “Angklung Day” was held by the Bumi Siliwangi alumni of the Indonesia University of Education (UPI). (Antara/Agus Bebeng)
