ctress Acha Septriasa says that she feels challenged by her latest role in Benni Setiawan’s comedy Bangun Lagi Dong Lupus (Wake Up Again, Lupus), where she plays a high school student. The film is slated for a Valentine’s Day 2013 release.
“I haven’t worn a high school uniform in six years. This is a challenge to portray [a high school girl]. My last role was playing a wife,” said the 23-year-old actress, as quoted by kompas.com.
In the film, Acha will play Poppy, Lupus’ smart classmate and potential girlfriend. Lupus will be played by newcomer Miqdad Addausy, who will be the sixth actor to play the iconic creation of comedy writer Hilman Hariwijaya. Bangun Lagi Dong Lupus will be the sixth Lupus film and the first one in over 20 years.
