Deputy Defense Minister Lt. Gen. (ret) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, accompanied by state-owned shipyard company PT PAL director Mohammad Firmansyah Arifin, inspects warships, tugboats and guided missile destroyers at a shipyard in Surabaya on Friday. Sjafrie also witnessed the preparedness of PT PAL to build a submarine works and repair facility, expected to be finished in 2014. (JP/Wahyoe Boediwardhana)
