egarding the filming of a soap opera in the intensive unit care (ICU) of Harapan Kita Hospital, which should never ever have happened, nothing is considered sacred anymore.

The human rights of hospital patients are now regarded as null and void. When, if ever, will we learn the honorable behavior of more civilized countries such as Japan?

The swiftness with which almost all Indonesian officials, high and low, immediately go into fervent denial mode and vehemently deny any unlawful activity (citing several plausible and implausible reasons) always amazes me.

Aside from the sheer cowardice and a total lack of honor, it also denotes shallowness of character.
