C. Sulawesi gets disaster response equipment

he National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) has provided the Central Sulawesi Provincial Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) with equipment and vehicles for natural disaster responses.

BPBD chief of emergency and logistics Anugrah Rahmansyah told reporters on Monday that the provision included one mobile toilet, one rubber dinghy and two motorized boats.

“We also received two 1.2-kilowatt generator sets, one command tent, five refugee tents, seven family tents and 20 lamps,” he said.

The BPBD already had a number of vehicles, including ambulances, water treatment vehicles, multi-purpose vehicles and field kitchen vehicles.
