T Eastspring Investments Indonesia, part of Prudential Corporation Asia, says it will cooperate with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) to sell its first mutual fund product, Eastspring Investments Alpha Navigator.

The agreement was signed in Jakarta on Wednesday by Riki Frindos, president director of Eastspring Investments Indonesia, and Lanny Hendra, general manager of wealth management, priority international banking, and country marketing head for consumer banking for Standard Chartered Bank.

“Through this cooperation, Standard Chartered Bank has become the first bank to sell the Eastspring Investments Alpha Navigator mutual fund,” Riki said.

Riki said that he hoped that the company’s mutual fund would reach more individual and corporate investors, with the cooperation of Standard Chartered Bank, one of largest mutual fund distributors in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Lannny said that Eastspring’s mutual fund would widen the mutual fund portfolio distributed by Standard Chartered Bank. She said that she hoped the new fund would give bank customers more investment alternatives.
