orld IBO featherweight champion Daud Yordan is going to spar against Filipino boxers in his preparation for his next match against Simpiwe “V12” Vetyeka of South Africa.

“Dragon Fire management has told me that it will bring in maybe two Filipino boxers as my sparring partners,” Daud said on Wednesday as quoted by Antara news agency. The boxers are expected to arrive this week at his training camp in North Kayong, West Kalimantan.

Daud, who has recorded 29 wins and 2 losses in 32 fights, is scheduled to fight Vetyeka in Jakarta on April 14.

Thirty two year-old Vetyeka has a record of 24 wins (14 KOs) and two losses. The April 14 contest will also feature WBA featherweight champion Chris John against Satoshi Hosono of Japan.
