Canadian comedian Russell Peters will be cracking jokes again in Jakarta as part of his Notorious World Tour 2013 at Gandaria City shopping mall in South Jakarta on March 20. Last year, Peters set new records for the fastest-selling and most-attended comedy show in the country’s history, leaving many fans hoping for more performances. Exhibition

Members of the Ceramic Art Students Association (IWAK) from the Indonesian Institute of Arts (ISI) in Yogyakarta will be hosting a ceramic exhibition, entitled Vacuum Learning, from March 19 to 23 at Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta. IWAK members will showcase a number of their works at the event, which is held periodically to view and compare the quality of work by current students and alumni. Works by Indonesian photographer Rony Zakaria are scheduled to be displayed at an exhibition called Encounters at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Central Jakarta, on March 15-25.The exhibition coincides with his first monograph that bears the same title as the exhibition, which records his journey through a number of cities. Rony, who studied in 2009 as a fellow at the Asian Center for Journalism in Manila, the Philippines, has received several awards for his work including the NPPA Best of Photojournalism and the Mochtar Lubis Award Grant.
