(JP/Triwik)Veteran singer and song writer Iwan Fals will hold concerts in 15 cities on Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan starting in April, news portal tempo.co reported on Wednesday.
During the concert, Iwan will not only sing, but also will convey some important messages to his fans.
“I want to convey the importance of education, sanitation and culinary traditions in Indonesia. We have to remind people,” the singer said during his press conference in Jakarta.
Iwan, whose name is Virgiawan Listanto, has done some physical preparation for the concerts.
“I do karate, body treatment with regular sleep and have healthy meals,” the 51-year-old said, adding that he would sing 51 songs at his concerts, including local songs.
