Actress Happy Salma revisited the monologue Inggit with a performance at Bale Rumawat, the University of Padjajaran, Bandung, news portal Tempo.co reported.
The director Wawan Sofwan said the performance took place on a small stage in the campus on Wednesday.
The monologue tells of the life of Inggit Ganarsih, the wife of first president Sukarno.
“The show will be more intimate and Happy will [seem to be] chatting with the audiences,” Wawan said during rehearsal, adding that the first performance was two years ago.
He said Happy would do perform the flash-back story for one-and-a-half hours. “There is an addition to the script, which is in the opening monologue,” Wawan added.
