A

witness has testified that Setyabudi Tedjocahyono, an ex Bandung District courtjudge who is currently being detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission(KPK), often asked him to provide sex services, a lawyer said.

'Setyabudi spoke about the service as sunnah rosul [words and deeds of the prophet],' said Johnson Siregar, the lawyer of the witness in question, Toto Hutagalung.

He said Setyabudi usually required the service every Thursday and Friday.

When asked whether the service could be categorized as 'sexual gratification', Johnson refused to answer.

'You could ask that question directly to Setyabudi,' he said as quoted by tempo.co on Wednesday

Toto is the leader of the Gasibu Padjajaran mass organization and a businessman. His arrest followed that of Asep Triana, his close aide who had been earlier arrested for delivering Rp 150 million to Setyabudi. Both Asep and Setyabudi were arrested on March 22.

The bribe was allegedly given to Setyabudi in his capacity as presiding judge of the panel that tried the 2009 and 2010 social aid fund graft case, which could also implicate Bandung Mayor Dada Rosada. (asw/dic)
