antul regency administration launched an SMS program on Tuesday for people to help improve its health service. People wanting to convey complaints or criticisms about the health service can send an SMS to 08112741000.

'We will respond to the complaints quickly. This service is for everyone in Yogyakarta province, not just the residents of Bantul,' Bantul Deputy Regent Sumarno said after the launch ceremony.

He said the introduction of the service should address the problems faced by people when trying to access information about the administration and complaints sent through the service would inform health service policies.

'The main principle for this service is to [encourage the community's]
active participation,' Sumarno said.

Separately, Yogyakarta Deputy Governor Pakualam IX said the service would cover nutrition, family planning and insurance.

'Hopefully, the SMS gateway service would be able to answer the health problems faced by the people of the province,' said Pakualam.
