s many as 38 civil servants were excluded from the open callfor high-ranked district and subdistrict jobs as they failed the administrativeprocess.

'€œThey [those that failed] cannot participate in the next part of the process, which is an exam on development, public service and administration,'€ Jakarta Employment Agency open call coordinator Slamet said on Tuesday at his office.

 Slamet said a total of 1,156 civil servants from the city administration applied online between April 8 and 22.

Candidates who passed the administrative step will sit the exams on Saturday and Sunday simultaneously at nine different locations across the capital.

'€œWe will use school buildings because they have the facilities we need, '€ he said, adding that those that passed the test would face competency tests, including interviews with psychologists, essays and presentations.

Successful candidates will fill 44 district leader and 267 subdistrict leader positions across the capital.
