he Australian beach volleyball team won gold and silver medals at the just concluded Asia Pacific beach volleyball championship at Jakabaring Sport City, Palembang.

The gold came in the men's category, in which Sam Boehm/Cole Durant overcame Dian Putra S/Andy Ardiansyah of Indonesia in the finals. During Sunday's match, the Australian pair eased past their opponents 21-13, 21-15.
