The Goethe-Institut Indonesien and Yayasan Music Amadeus will present Amadeus Goes Brass: Full Blast on May 2 at Goethe. For several years, young brass musicians have had the opportunity to refine their skills with the support of German instrumental tutors who are invited to teach in Indonesia. In 2013, the training program features Benjamin Fischer, an oboe teacher and musician from Bremen, Germany. Amadeus Brass and Neo Capella Amadeus will show off what they have been working on. Dance

Erasmus Huis will present Spirit of Dance by Introdans, a company of internationally renowned choreographers. The company stands for top quality and continual development. From its base in Arnhem, the company travels the world enabling audiences all over the world to enjoy high-quality modern ballet. Artistic director Roel Voorintholt selected some of the most famous pieces of the Introdans repertoire. Performances will be on May 2 at Erasmus Huis, May 4 at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta and on May 8 at Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta, Central Java. Theater


Erika Batdorf of Canada will collaborate with Arwinda of Germany in presenting The Smell of the Soul musical at Teater Salihara on June 7-8. Batdorf writes, directs and is one of the performers in the cabaret, which is a comedy about death and chaos. Batdorf will also host a workshop called 'Finding Your Voice' on June 3-5. Visit
