strong>Your comments on officers from the National Police's Densus 88 counterterrorism unit, who have arrested 13 terror suspects and killed seven others in a series of raids on terrorist cells across Java:
If we talk about security, people tend to think of it as only the business of the police.
We, as people, forget that in the smallest neighborhood, security is a matter of our own safety.
So do something when you find even the smallest suspicious thing.
Beware of terrorists!
Eddy Arjuna Zainy
Terrorists are basically discontented citizens; they are born in countries where the government, one way or another, is wayward; where bribing is not considered a sin. Poor education, which leads to fanaticism, is an easy source of blind discontent leading to hatred and personal revolt. It only needs an organized system to direct this anger toward a pre-arranged target.
The provision of proper free education where the youth have a bright future after graduation is a way to prevent this.
Through poor education, terrorists are born every day to the advantage of the elements bent on undermining the unity of our archipelago, our nation.

It is heartening to note that we are active against the present day scourge of terrorism.
We are in an envious position as compared to some other countries as aggressive terrorism has not caught on here. The rounding up of suspects will give momentum to this trend.
We trust that if found guilty, action against them will be taken to its logical conclusion.
