I

just want to share my thoughts on the article, 'Mob ransacks Ahmadiyah village' (The Jakarta Post, May 6).

These mobs believe that Islam only offers a one-way street. You can enter but can never get out.

This sort of extremism never occurred during the time Prophet Muhammad (peace upon him) was around.

Islam allows religious freedom as one of its basic human rights. If this freedom was not afforded by Islam, it could not have
become a universal religion.
