The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) deplored the detention of a low-ranking police officer, Adj. First Insp. (Aiptu) Labora Sitorus, by the National Police (Polri) for his fat bank accounts.
'There has been a public falsehood here. There is data, concerning the amount of Aiptu Labora Sitorus's wealth, that is untrue,' said Kompolnas' commissioner M.Nasser on Sunday as quoted by kompas.com.
Your comments:
This police officer made US$102 million from legally sold wood and fuel in five years? Has he cut down a forest the size of Bali?
Not only that, but how does he have time to work as a police officer while he's running a multi-million dollar business? There is no limit to the greed and arrogance of Indonesia's predatory elites.
