odern politics requires political parties with their ideology and vision to support the development of democracy. Ideology should be the main consideration whether people become members, supporters or voters of parties.

Ideology, vision and mission are the factors that make parties different to each other. Ideology means identity for a political party. Ideology is character. If political parties do not have these three elements, then democracy will go nowhere.

Regrettably, there is a tendency toward political pragmatism in nearly all political parties. Politics is just an industry to gain popularity. As a result, people are skeptical about all political parties. People no longer respect political parties or politicians, if they ever did.

People with integrity are reluctant to join political parties.

Political parties need to stick with their ideology, vision and mission to win the election and they have to maintain all three after the elections. With such political parties, democracy will develop on the right track and the result will be a strong civilian leadership.
