T

he People’s Conscience Party (Hanura) will provide campaign funds to its legislative candidates who will compete in 2014.

“We have special funds for campaign financing to individual candidates. We’re looking into the party’s support in every electoral region,” party secretary general Dossy Iskandar said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Dossy said the amount of financial support given to candidates would depend on how big their support was in their respective constituencies.

“We want to make sure that our candidates can win the election in their respective constituencies,” he said.

Hanura is backed by media tycoon Hary Tanoesoedibjo, who is one of the nation’s richest men according to Forbes magazine.
