'Police personnel were deployed to safeguard the protest,' National police spokesman Sr. Comr. Agus Rianto said on Wednesday.
He said the airport's management was discussing the compensation package.
Domine Eduard Osok Airport opened in 2012 and is the largest and busiest airport in West Papua.(dic)
