awyerTito Refra Kei, brother of renowned gang leaderJohn Kei, was shot dead last night by an unknown assailant. The shootingtook place in front of a small kiosk in Bekasi while Titowas playing cards with friends.

BesidesTito, the assailant also shot dead kiosk owner Ratim.

BekasiPolice chief Sr. Comr. Priyo Widyanto said the police had gatheredone projectile and one shell casing from the scene.

Priyo said although the investigation was still ongoing, it seemed Tito had been targeted by the assailant for a while as Tito usually spent his nights at the small kiosk located near his home in the Medan Satria region, Bekasi, Tempo.co reported.

Tito's remains will be buried in his hometown on Kei Island, Maluku. (nai/dic)
