ndonesian DemocraticParty of Struggle (PDIP) Secretary General Tjahjo Kumolo said party patron Taufik Kiemas, partychairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri's husband, ishospitalized in Singapore.

'Pak Taufik was a tired after observing Pancasila celebrations in Ende on June 1. Now he is in a much better condition and hopefully will be back with us in no time,' Tjahjo said in a press on Saturday.

According to Andreas Pareira, a senior PDIP member, Megawati, her daughter Puan Maharani and Pramono Anung, deputy speaker of House of Representatives are in Singapore to see Taufik.(hrl/dic)
