strong>Your comments on the violence that erupted in front of the Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah, killing one person. Hundreds of Indonesian domestic workers set furniture alight at the consulate's gates on Sunday:

The questions are as follows: How many people needed to be served?

How many officers in the consulate were involved?

How does the consulate communicate with the workers?

When, where and how are the services delivered? Do we need help from local authorities?

That's just a start.

Eddy Arjuna Zainy

We have seen on TV how stranded individual workers were given food, but this was only a temporary relief.

A more welcome approach would have been to use of the RI consulate dining plates and glasses and put the consulate kitchen staff to work!

The large number of domestic workers has overwhelmed the consulate. The consulate is a chance for Indonesia to show how appreciative we are of our migrants sending their earnings back home on a regular basis.

I have the impression that the government simply does not care about them, just like the government of the Philippines does to its foreign domestic workers.

Why do we treat our foreign domestic workers so badly when they ' as dollar earners ' are our heroes?

I think the Indonesian government has to pay extra attention to the embassy and consulates in Saudi Arabia.

Maybe there are millions of Indonesian domestic workers in the country.

Our delegation doesn't have enough human resources there, but there are also other reasons.

I am not surprised by what happened in Jeddah. The people in the government tend to not be serious about serving ordinary people. It makes the people angry.
