early 500 civil servants aspiring to become district and subdistrict heads in the city administration’s first job posting have failed the managerial leadership test.
The test, which includes a psychological test, an interview and a program presentation, was carried out by the Jakarta Employment Agency (BKD) in conjunction with the National Police. Up to 52 assessors were involved in the testing process. “Of the 1,156 candidates, 37 failed to attend the test. Meanwhile, 153 district leader hopefuls and 301 subdistrict leader hopefuls failed the test,” National Police assessment center head Sr. Comr. Untung Leksono told reporters at the BKD office on Thursday.
He said the city would oversee the next step — the competency test.
BKD head I Made Karmayoga said the agency would soon publish the names of the applicants who passed the managerial test.
“Successful candidates will be inaugurated on June 21,” he said.
