he Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) plans to conduct more studies to prevent corruption in government institutions.
KPK commissioner Adnan Pandu Praja said on Thursday that the results of the studies would be submitted to the President, the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and the House of Representatives.
“At the moment, we’re just working with the BPK and it turns out that it has been effective [enough] in preventing [corruption],” he told a press conference at the KPK headquarters in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
The agency said it had carried out studies on food security and the national energy supply, the results of which had been discussed with Coordinating Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa, Presidential Working Unit for the Supervision and Management Development (UKP4) head Kuntoro Mangkusubroto and some directors of state-owned enterprises on Thursday.
