construction worker fell to his death from the 20th floorof a hotel currently under construction on Jl. Hayam Wuruk in Tamansari, West Jakarta, on Saturday.

The police said the man, identified as Wildan Kasparilugis, 19, suffered severe injuries to his head, hands, feet and back, adding that he died en route to Husada Hospital.

'According to information from a workmate, he fell when installing a safety deck on the 20th floor,' Tamansari Police general crimes unit head Comr. Erick Frendriz said as quoted by kompas.com on Saturday.

The police have questioned three other construction workers as witnesses to determine the circumstance leading to Wildan's death. (hrl/dic)
