AKARTA: The third week of the Apple Coal JCA T20 League 2012-13 saw victories for Menara Devils and Senayan in Group A and Challenger Super Kings (CSK) and Fez Rebels in Group B.
In the morning game at Cibubur, Menara brushed aside Jakarta Barbarians by six wickets, to register their third straight win and inch closer to a semifinal berth.
Batting first, Barbarians struggled against Menara's pace attack and slumped from 41/1 in 10 overs to 92/9 in 20 overs. Sam Mabey made 30. Rikesh, Keyur and Mohit picked up two wickets each. Menara reached the victory target in 14 overs. Rahul and Harshad chipped in with 30 and 24 runs respectively. Mohit was the man of the match.
In the afternoon game, Senayan pulled off an exciting three-run victory over WPP-India XI. Sent in to bat first, Senayan made 129/5 in 20 overs.
Sandeep Pawar made 46 not out and Prem made 39 runs. Senayan bowlers did well to restrict the opposition to 126/5. Pallav top scored with 60 runs with Partha making 27.
At the Gandhi ground, CSK beat Mavecric Menarians by 11 runs while Rebels beat Emerio Dragons by six wickets.
Menara tops Group A, followed by APC United. In Group B, TKCC is at top followed by CSK.
