police officer has been questioned on suspicion of being a drug dealer.Adj. Second Inps. Ariyawan was detainedafter an test showed him to be a drug user.
'We have tested him and his blood sample was positive. We are now questioning him to establish whether he is is a dealer,' Semarang Police Chief Sr. Comr. Elan Subilan said.
Ariyawan has been suspected for quite some time.
Ariyawan is reportedly the accomplice of another police officer, First Insp. Hendro PW who is on trial for drug offences in Semarang district court.
Previously, several police officers and a navy commander were arrested for similar offences.(hrl/dic)
