his year, haj pilgrims, who usually depart from Terminal3 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport will depart from Halim Perdanakusumaairport in East Jakarta.
Yudis Setiawan, general affairs manager of PT Angkasa Pura II, the operator of the international airport, said the haj terminal would be altered to function as an airport apron. 'The airport apron is in the middle of construction that will be complete in 2014,' he said on Friday as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Details on the usage of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport for haj pilgrims have not been made available yet.
