his Ramadhan, singer Sandhy Sondoro has released a religious single, 'Persembahan UntukMu' (Tribute for You), representing his love for God.
'My love is entirely for Allah, I'm not trying to preach. This is purely my love for Allah,' Sandhy said on Monday as quoted by Tempo.co.
Sandhy completed the single in mid-2012. The single is part of The Best of Islamic Music Volume 2. Singles from singers such as Fatin Shidiqa, Maher Zain, and Hadad Alwi are also included in the album.
'Last year the moment was not quite right, so finally I released it this year,' he said.
Sandhy made his name in the music scene after living in Germany and competed in the New Wave international music competition for young singers in Jurmala, Latvia, in 2009.
