he Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is scheduled to once again question former youth and sports minister Andi Mallarangeng on Friday.
The antigraft body has often decided to lock up graft suspects soon after questioning them on Fridays, prompting many to give the moniker 'spooky Friday'.
KPK spokesperson Johan Budi however shrugged off speculation that Andi would be detained on Friday.
'We indeed have a schedule to question him, but only as a witness,' Johan told reporters on Thursday.
Johan also said that the KPK would also summon Teuku Bagus Muhammad Nur, former operational director of construction firm PT Adhi Karya.
Andi has been charged with various irregularities in the administration and funding for Hambalang Sports Center in Bogor, West Java.
Under Andi's watch, the budget for the center ballooned from Rp 300 million (US$31,000) under the previous minister to Rp 2.5 trillion.
On Thursday, the KPK questioned Zulkarnain 'Choel' Anwar Mallarangeng, Andi's younger brother as a witness in the graft case.
