Mourinho to split Chelsea for facing Indonesia BNI All-Star team

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will split his team in preparation for the match against the Indonesia BNI All-Star team.

"We are ready to take this match seriously," Mourinho "the Special One" said during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday as quoted by Tribunnews.com.

"We will split the team into two, just like we did when we were facing the Thai and Malaysian teams," he added.

According to Mourinho, each sub-team will be played alternately with the substitution usually executed in first 45 minutes of the match.

Mourinho explained that the split was intended to help him find the best composition of team player for the next season besides providing all players a chance to play.

In the previous trial matches, the Special One mixed the last season core players with newer players.
Chelsea arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta on Tuesday at 1 p.m. local time, having flown from Malaysia on Malaysia Airlines. They are scheduled to play a friendly match against the Indonesia BNI All-Star team at the Bung Karno Stadium on Thursday. (fan)
