he State-Owned Enterprises Ministry has appointed Budi Setiawan as the new president director of state-owned postal company PT Pos Indonesia, replacing I Ketut Mardjanan.
'The replacement was conducted based on a decision made during the latest Pos Indonesia general shareholders meeting documented in Decision Letter No. KEP-316/MBU/2013,' the ministry's interim deputy for infrastructure and logistics, Imam A. Putro, said as quoted by Antara.
Imam said that Ketut was replaced because his term had finished.
The ministry also discarded the position of deputy president director and finance director at Pos Indonesia.
Budi said he would improve digitalization at Pos Indonesia. 'Pos Indonesia will be heavily based on technology,' Budi said.
