5,614 inmates get sentence reduction in Central Java

n official said that 5,614inmates from 44 prisons throughout Central Java recieved remission as part ofthe Idul Fitri observation. From that number, 69 would be freed on the day thatIdul Fitri falls.
'These inmates will get a varying amount cut off their sentences; from 15 days to two months,' Law and Human Rights Ministry Central Java statistic division head Lindu Prabowo said on Friday.
He said the eligible inmates were those who had served at least six months in prison.(dic)
